El Cráneo de VacaLas cráneos de animales me fascinaban cuando era niño. Recuerdo haber pasado semanas limpiando y luego armando hueso por hueso el cráneo de un Mero, otra vez fue el de una Morena que pesqué, más tarde coleccioné cráneos de aves encontrados en la playa. El trofeo máximo fue un albatros. Este Cráneo de Vaca combina la simplicidad de su base con un doblado ingenioso y agradable. Con su forma muy tridimensional y un papel de color y textura adecuados, se obtiene un resultado muy realista. Es un modelo que quedará particularmente bien si se dobla con "papel elefante" y en húmedo. Para mantener las superficies de "hueso" bien lisas conviene manosear el papel solamente lo necesario durante el doblado. |

Cow’s SkullAnimal skulls fascinated me as a kid. I remember spending weeks cleaning and putting together, bone by bone, the skull of Sea Bass, and later one of a morey eel I had caught. I also collected bird skulls I found in the beach. The "cream of the crop" was an albatross. The Cow's Skull combines a simple base with an interesting and pleasant folding sequence. Its three-dimensional form, folded from paper of the right color and texture, can give a very realistic result. This model will look particularly nice when wet folded from Wyndstone Marble paper. Handle the paper as little as possible -- only as much as is necessary to fold the figure -- so the surfaces of the “bone" are kept clean and smooth.
